How To Use

Clean the Skin: Gently clean the area around the stoma with lukewarm water or saline.Dry thoroughly to ensure strong adhesion and minimize irritation.

Measure the Stoma:Use a measuring guide to determine the stoma size accurately, especially during the first 6-8 weeks post-surgery as swelling reduces.Regular measurement ensures a proper fit.

Cut the Skin Barrier:Cut an opening in the skin barrier 1-1.5 mm larger than the stoma to ensure a comfortable fit without pressure or damage.

Prevent Leakage:Temporarily place a gauze pad over the stoma to absorb any output during application and keep the area dry.

Apply the Skin Barrier:Peel off the release paper and position the skin barrier over the stoma.Press from the bottom up, holding evenly for several minutes to strengthen adhesion.

Attach the Pouch:Align the pouch flange with the skin barrier flange.Press firmly until you hear a "click," confirming the connection is secure.Pull gently to ensure the pouch is attached properly.

Remove the Pouch:Pinch the wing on the connecting ring and gently pull the pouch away from the skin barrier.

Empty the Pouch:For drainable pouches, open the outlet when it is one-third full.Empty contents into the toilet, then clean and dry the outlet before resealing for continued use.

Remove the Skin Barrier:Press the skin with one hand while peeling off the barrier slowly with the other.Use lukewarm water to ease the process if needed, avoiding forceful removal.
